A home office blog where you can find advice and home office ideas on healthy, practical, and profitable ways to set up your home office environment and computer systems.

Who am I to give YOU advice?

Although I promise that I will be writing about myself as little as possible, you deserve to know who is claiming the right to help you choose important products and services for your home office.

Michael Glans - Author PhotoMy name is Michael Glans. I am a professional computer animator and business owner. I have worked with computer graphics for almost 25 years on different levels.

During the last decade I have worked on films at several animation and visual effects studios in Denmark, Germany, and the UK.

I have worked with computers, software, and work station related issues for 30 years. As you can imagine from my choice of starting a home office blog, I am very interested in workspace equipment and ergonomics. I have spent countless hours in front of computer screens which has forced me to become acutely aware of how that affects my health.

Credential disclaimer

While I have some three decades worth of trial and error experience with home office issues, it is important for me to tell you up front that I do not have any official IT, medical, or therapeutic training. The information that I share on this website is entirely based on personal experience and extensive research.

I will do my best to share this knowledge with you if you choose to keep returning to the Office Orbiter blog.

Your trust and affiliate earnings on this site

I will try very hard to earn your trust in the content that I am creating for you on this site, absolutely free of charge. However, in order to avoid any misunderstandings, I want to share with you how this home office blog works financially.

While I am excited about sharing my experience with the subjects that will be covered here, the site needs funds to run and grow. This will enable me to put in a substantial amount of time for writing and research.

The two main income sources of the Office Orbiter website are comercials and affiliate programs. The use and workings of commercials will be clear to all of course. What may not be so obvious to some of you are affiliate programs.

Many of the links to products and services are so-called affiliate links. This means that if you choose go through my link and end up buying something on a third party website, I will earn a small commission from the company in question. However, using my affiliate links will NOT result in extra cost for YOU. In fact, I may even be able to arrange exclusive Office Orbiter discounts from time to time.

If you are uncomfortable with this arrangement, you should not use the product links on this site as they will most likely be affiliate links. However, non-profit references will occur frequently for your convenience, such as links to:

  • Other articles on this site
  • Articles on other websites
  • Authority links

Please note that every single product or service was or will be hand-picked by me personally. Reviews and articles are based on careful research and personal experience.

Take your time

Before you proceed to buy any recommended product or service, please take your time to consider your needs to make sure that you are buying the right product. Remember that any trustworthy seller or service-provider offers a trial period or money back guarantee. I recommend not to buy a product or service that you have not tried first or that can´t be returned.
